This is a build I did a few years ago using Bill J's 1931 winner. In 1936 Lou Moore started 29th and finished 17th when he ran out of gas (only 37 1/2 gallons allowed for the race) spoiling at least a top 10 finish. Seven cars ran out of fuel that day. I'm posting this because originally I used SE Finecast wheels, and tires from one of the old Aurora kits which are all that I had. (I had used the wheels and tires that Bill had provided for something else.) With Gary back in business I got a set of his photo-etch wheels and resin tires which are much more correct than what I had done originally. What do you guys think? Before: After: The new front tires are actually smaller than the rears, although it's hard to tell in these shots. Thanks for looking. TomF

That's a beautiful car and you've done a fantastic job on it. The paint is awesome, the seats look just like leather, I'd call it perfect. Whose decals?

I just got Garys' Ascot Sprinter and '30 Indy winner. Falling in love with this era. Your car is beautifully done and I hope I can come close to your level.
