Decals for Louis Meyer's winning car. There has been some recent debate as to the color of the car. The Jack Fox book describes the car as cream with red markings. But researching "Tydol" revealed that they used orange in their logo back in the early 30s. A Tydol add commemorating Meyer's win also depicts the car with orange markings. After discussions with Gary Doucette and some of you on the board, the consensus was to go with orange instead of red. www.indycals.net/decals/indy/33tydolspecial.html

but I still want to know what "TYDOL" is. is it something to dye your tie blue or to make your tie feel better?
nevermind.....I guess "Tydol" was a brand of gasoline and "Veedol" was motor oil. at least thats what I found searching online.
we all know, if its online...it must be true! lol
