Hi, I'm a Belgian slot car scratch builder and I'm searching quite a while now for pre WW2 American race cars, in scale 1/32 car bodies. It is very strange that there is so little to find? If you look for pre WW2 European race car, I wouldn't say you'll find them in abundance, but you can find them, made professionally or by amateurs. But if you look for American race cars, there's nothing, and this for a country that start racing about the same time as they did in Europe and this even without interruption form both WW. At the moment I've got two Indy cars 1/32 made of resin by a french guy, known on e-bay as Geodies. And it's a Miller 91 and the 1911 Marmon Wasp. And they are not of the best quality in scaling, nor detailing. At the moment I start working at a total scratch build, the 1906 Darracq 100Hp that won the Vanderbilt Cup that same year. I already build it's 1905 brother, the 200Hp Darracq who also broke speed records in USA and was the fastest vehicle at the time. So If somebody could help me, or link me, where I can find and buy these models, that would be great. They may be Indy cars, or cars that took part in big race events like the Vanderbilt Cup. I don't care what it's made from, resin, polyester or what ever, as long as it's in scale 1/32 and realistic. Cheers, Danny
