Went over to the museum today to take detail shots of the Wasp. Hood was closed so went to the photo shop to check out pix selection. to my dismay, out of over 150 pix NOT ONE picture of the engine of this car was in their system!!!!! What-the-hay!!!
Really need any angle of motor compartment, both sides & firewall. looking for shapes, object colors and surface details. Pre-Thanks-Jeff

Mike, Just starting the Wasp 3-hd motor, could use some help with details @ or/below frame line. The Wisconsin Stutz kit engine works great just stretch it a little. Jeff

Hi Jeff, I have been detailing out the engine for the Wasp in CAD for a while now and collected most of my reference material off the net. In addition to the actual Wasp images I also looked up the Zenith carb photos on e-bad, and various magnetos around the net also. Although these cad images don't show it I have gotten a pretty good layout for the water pump. What I need is a better view of the Magneto mount and since the car has that later addition splash tray installed there are no good photos of the oil pan or the flywheel bell housing. That seems to be the big mystery for us all. If you send me a PM we can talk about burning a disk with some reference images. Model On! John
