I won this kit a club white elephant gift exchange. It was a box of broken parts, partially glued and painted.....from a pig's ear so to speak...I made my fantasy F5000

I wish now after all the work that went into this I had actually replicated a real car. We used to have this white elephant gift exchange and part of the challenge was to finish your car in 2 months. I came up with the Bianco Pacoderm (white elephant) Racing theme. The engine is fully plumbed, wires, etc, spring shocks, photo etch seat belts. Engine is from the monogram sprint cars as are the headers just turned around and upside down. Have any of you seen the movie called the Racing Scene? It is documentary of sorts of James Garners racing exploits....it's actually quite good and the F5000 stuff in it is really neat. Scooter Patrick drove a Garners Surtees that never seems to really get sorted out.

Yes, late 60's....they start out in desert doing Baha(Ford Bronco with PJ and Scooter patrick), then Daytona(LolA T-70), F5000.
