The tires for the '63 can be had from Replicas and Miniatures. Other than that, Lance Sellers did the conversions and he hasn't offered them in a long time. Nic

I'm not sure about the differences in the 62 and 63, but I'm pretty sure the width and profile of the 64s was much different than previous years.

Yes, '64 was much wider. I don't have the exact dimensions, but it is close to a 30 to 40% increase in width on the rears. I believe that Lance did source the tires from somewhere perhaps one of the Fujimi sports kits. I know his '67 tires came from the GT40. Nic

I'm sorry I can't help, Mike, but I do hope you find them. I used Lance's set to do the '64 and loved it.

Mike -- I had posted this somewhere before, but having seen your WIP skills I think you can do this. 1) Turn the AMT nose upside-down (slanted a little toward the front) and pour a layer of epoxy in -- when dried, this can be motor-tooled and puttied on the top to give you the sharper nose. To me, this is an easy change that makes the biggest difference with the AMT Watson. 2) for the '64, I just cut the scoop loose, bent the bottom down, and made new, larger sides. 3) for the '63, just mold in the aero pieces included. 4) modify all the above to the level of exactness you want. 5) I also narrow the front axle, with less offset. Hope this helps.
I, too, would love some sets of later roadster wheels/tires.
