This is my version of the Resin Kurtis Midget that I produced. John R. Wills' Hoover Motor Express Spl. with usual pilot being Dick Northam. Snuck in the background is an almost finished Johnny Pawl Spl. which was Johnnie Parson's favorite ride. -Rick

Johnny Pawl purchased the rights, jigs, molds, patterns, etc. From Frank Kurtis in 1955 when Kurtis got out of the midget market to concentrate on his Champ Car program. Pawl supplied, primarily the Midwest for many years with Kurtis parts and accompanying manufacter pieces.
Les Scott campaigned what may be one of the most famous and winningest midgets of all-time. Upon Jimmy Davies' death he purchased the Bob Pankratz built car that Davies won 3 consecutive USAC National Championships in. Both drivers ended up in the National Midget Hall of Fame. I'll bet that one would fetch in excess of $45k!

I just saw this model of the Hoover Motor Express midget. I actually own the real Hoover Motor Express midget and I'm wondering if this model is available or if anyone has information, photos, etc. about the car.
Thanks
