Sweet! Talk to me about the Bettenhausen AMAX car. That was an '89 Lola Buick, correct? I have those decals, but have been hesitant about trying to make them fit on a Monogram "Buick" kit. Looks like you used one of the AMT kits? Did you make any modifications? (I can see the wing looks good.)

Love the PC-1! Do you recall which kit you used for the engine and rear suspension? I built Bill's Shadow and used the rear mechanicals from the Tamiya Wolf kit. I still have the Penske and Parnelli to go.

Thanks Bill. I was big follower of the American push into F1 back in the early to mid '70s so when I saw you offering these kits I jumped on them!

The Penske PC1 was built from parts of the Tamiya Ligier kit with some scracth building added. Great kit I hope Bill produces them again. As far as the Amex car, I believe it was a 91 Penske with Chevy power. That and the Penzoil and Foyt cars are Unionvac bodies built with AMT parts. Glad you guys like the photos
Kevin K
p.s. Does anyone have any photos of the Chris Kneifel 1984 Primus Indy car? Any photos would be appreciated. Thanks again

Hi Lance Thanks for the kind words on the PC 1!!! As for the shadow I wish I did build it but its not mine. By the way great photos of the Primus especially the head on view, did you take them? They really helped a lot. do you have anymore?
Thanks Kevin K

Sorry Darylh, I missed that the Shadow was yours, it is a very impressive build! Kevin, I did take the Primus shots but unfortunately that's all I have. Your Primus master is looking great! Lance
