Within the next two weeks I'll be releasing the Fuel Injection Spl. This will be a complete kit with 44 resin & metal parts. Decals are available for the 1952, 53, & 54 versions from Indycals. The kit will be $80 + $5 for shipping. If you are interested and would like to PM me in advance. I'll start pouring. Thanks for looking. -Rick

I've posted it before, but here's one I built from Bill's kit several years ago. This was my first real resin kit build, and it pushed me to develop my skills and make me a better modeler. Probably not as good as some others have done, but I'm proud of it!

I never thought this car was very attractive (because of the color) until I saw it in the museum at Indy. Seeing it first hand quickly changed my mind, nice job on yours Scott.

Thanks, John. But I think my skills are probably getting rusty - as you can imagine I haven't had much modeling time! Hope all is well down there in Ohio.

@john - Good memory! Yes, three next month. And people tell me the terrible threes are worse than the twos... Still, they've been to the Speedway already, and still like watching race cars with me. And they each got a pseudo-F1 dollar store car for Christmas. @bill - Thanks much! @rick - Shh, don't tell anyone, but those lines just sort of go into the interior and don't actually connect to anything. And I'm going to show my ignorance here because I don't know what they are, but I missed the "nubs" on the back behind the rear wheels. And I didn't put any seatbelts in, either.

Scott, the "nubs" I believe are for the device they used to raise the rear of the car on pit stops, but I could be wong, I mean wrong. As for 3 years old, that was my favorite age for my daughter. My 3 year old will be 31 in June, it happened fast.

Patrick, I contacted Rick and got this response. He's a busy man!
No you have not missed your chance. Here's the deal...I am a race track promoter first and a resin caster 4th, beind being a family man, and still trying to sneak in a race as midget/sprint car driver. I have all the molds and metal ready to go but now we are in full racing season mode. I will try to launch this kit within the next couple of months. Stay tuned to this and the other site. I will likely do about 25 kits because that is what the molds can support and because that is the total that I sold for the Belond kit.
That's the best I can offer you at this time.
My Best, -Rick
