Quick update. As soon as my wife and I got home from vacation, we both got COVID. I'm finally starting to feel significantly better, she's still feeling pretty awful and can barely smell/taste anything but getting better. I haven't exactly felt like working on anything since then, but I did at least manage to clean the tires off with lacquer thinner and spray them with gloss clear coat to prepare for decals. (Not a moment too soon, it was in the 70s here this week, but today it's snowing!)

COVID was rough, it took weeks to finally get back to normal! However, I finally was able to finish the model a few days ago -- I got the tires decaled, cleared, and then attached the wheels onto the car and then realized it was missing something. The wheel hubs on the car stick out past the nut and have some bare metal that gives a nice contrast to the black of the center of the wheel area, so I drilled a hole through the middle of some Evergreen tube and painted it silver and stained the sides with Tamiya smoke, then glued them onto the top of the wheel nuts. Full gallery of 17 (!!) pictures in the Virtual Museum thread here.
