Getting back into 1960's (only) 1/24 Indy car and Sports/Racing cars. Spending money like a drunken Sailor (which I am), picked up the AMT Indy duo kit. Want to use the Agajanian chassis for a Cooper Ford/King Cobra. Bought a Lancer King Cobra of which I've had 3 so far, want a couple of Pactra's painted both blues, which I also had previously 5 times . My question is: What modern spray paint can I use without the body "Curling"? About 10 years ago I used some modern slot car body paint which curled the Hell out of my Lola GT Mk V1. Lancer used some thick plastic will current Testor's bottle paint cause curling, what about water based? Enamel or Lacquer?
