I'm back in the Indy Car modeling and and my first project was getting another (20 at least) AMT or IMC Lotus 29 and an Agajanian Watson. When my wife left me and I left San Diego I donated all my models and slot cars to the San Diego Automotive Museum, it was hard to do but I was going across country and living in a pickup. Many of my photos, books and slides were ruined by rain water. I can't get them all back but I can work some projects. The Lotus will get me going and serve the base for other Indy 1963-1968 or F-1 projects, the "Aggie" will convert into a Cooper-Ford "King Cobra" the chassis is quite close and widened out nice. So it's back to acquiring, tires, wheels, decals and scrathbuilding. God Bless YouTube it keeps the fires lit. My brother and I both think the 1960's were the BEST years for auto racing, so much innovation until it got soooooooo expensive and less FUN. Nice having those little pieces of plastic in my hands again.

Great to have you aboard! Please introduce yourself in the Introductions section of the forum. Let us know where you're coming from. Also, the AMT Lotus 29 and Watson cars you're looking for can be obtained on ebay. You can find the IMC Lotus 38 there too. However, I would recommend the Lance Sellers Lotus 38 if you can find one. You just have to have a little patients for a good deal on ebay. They do come up from time to time. Also, Indycals along with making some great decals also makes a great update set for the Lotus 29. www.indycals.net/www.indycals.net/parts/indyparts/63lotus29upgrade.htmlHappy Indy Car Modeling, Jim
