I have always wanted a FF car in my collection so I've been collecting parts for one. I started by saving the wheels from a Tamiya Super 7 kit as they were the ideal size. The tires came from the spares box... The engine came from ?, but is an inline-4 Ford engine. The trans is a cobbled one to look like an early Hewland... The body came from a Roxy toy which was too small for a F1, but just right for a smaller formula car... I didn't have a chassis for this so I made a space frame one to fit... I think the tubing should have been a smaller size, but...ok... I scrounged up suspension parts from various places... I carefully adjusted the body of the HK toy body to fit inside the chassis... the engine fits fine ... Almost ready to paint the body today... NOTE: Carmoletti Cars is a constructor of racing cars created in my mind during the mid-60s for all my drawings of race cars. In high school I had an IMC Lotus that I bashed into a psudo-F1 car since there were NO F1 models in 1/24-25. The team colors were a light blue with two thin yellow stripes down the center line of the car's body. That's how I'll paint this model. This has been an enjoyable project for me and all is fitting well. On to finishing it! Rossa156

That would be a 1600cc or 98 cid like the one in the early Pinto! Chris
