1994 Miller Genuine Draft PC-22/Illmor #4 - Bobby Rahal

After leasing year old chassis from Roger Penkse, Bobby Rahal and Mike Groff pulled their Lola/Hondas from the Indy Car field and re-qualified the leased PC-22s for the 1994 Indy 500.  Bobby Rahal was able to garner a third place finish in his leased PC-22.  Not bad for a year old car!

This is a Jorgensen PC-22 resin body.  I used the Revell Reynard and AMT Lola kits as donors. I used Tamiya white surface primer and Tamiya TS-47 Chrome Yellow out of rattle cans.  I then used Testors Model Master Classic Black thinned 50/50 through my Paasche air bush.  I then clear coated with Tamiya Acrylic Clear Gloss.  Decals are from Blue Line decals, a special thanks to Mike Bugel at Blue Line for making these decals.

Thanks Mike, you're to hard on yourself. The decals went on great! The yellow decals were a little tricky, but it worked out nicely.
