Hi guys
I was looking for some information on the internet and I stumbled on a very good site for detail photos. check this link.

All the photos in all of this are from the Dave Friedman collection.
This link brings you to over 1400 photos from the Indy 500 in 1967.Not many are from the race itself ,but of people and a lot of cars, some very good detail pictures.
This is only the tip of the Ice burg, look at the top left of page 1 it says Back to albums list. Click on and it beings you back to an amazing group of albums about 140 racing albums on 2 pages including most of the 1960s Indy 500s, several other Indy car races, some F1, some Le Mans, other Le Mans type races, sports cars and you name it and that includes several of the taxicab races from the Eastern part of my state and other places.
AS you can guess I don't like that type of spec racing. 30 or more 3400 pound cars going 200 + miles per hour in 2 or 3 and sometimes even 4 rows nose to tail tear up a fortune in machinery and kill people, and the only real racing is only the last few laps.
Please pardon my dislike of that type of racing. If I have broken any rules or offended anyone I apologize.
Anyway back to the subject try the link there is probably a lot I haven't found yet.
