Finally, pretty much back on track. Just got the first coat of clear on after decaling. A couple of things about the decals. I used Indycals decals on the kit, because I am used to working with Michael's decals, because they are easy to use and work really well with Solvaset. However, I found that there were a couple of decals missing on the Indycals sheet. Very minor decals so I was able to find them on other decal sheets. First was the two BOSCH decals that go on either side of the air scoop. Also, missing was the Northernlights.com decals for either side of the car. These decals are very small and I don't know if you could even read them that small! They are located under the number 9 on either side of the car. I had to go into the kit decals for those. Jim

I've gotten a little stumped. I have a question for anyone that can help me. I've been able to find where almost all of the decals go for the 2000 G-Force, except one. I cannot find where to put the John Deere tractor decal. I know that it was put on the inside of the car by JPM as a joke, but does anyone know exactly where on inside of the car the decal goes? Any help would be great!

Wow that looks sharp! Makes me wish I had one. Thanks Art! They're presently available from American Racing Miniatures (ARM) americanracingminiatures.com/The kit has two different schemes. The 2000 Indy 500 winner and the season opening race winner of Robbie Buhl. I wish there would be a couple of other schemes available, such as Al Jr.'s tickets.com car or Foyt's cars. Jim

Well I hope I'm in the home stretch here. I got the cockpit detailed and put into place, along with the dash and steering wheel. I added the weight jackers and stick shift to the cockpit. Still didn't find where the "John Deere" decal goes! I got most of the car assembled and was able to get the suspension on. The wheels and tires are not yet glued in place. I have to mount the rear brake discs. I was able to add all of the antennas. One behind the camera on top of the air scoop, one on the top right side pod and on the nose at the number nine. I also detailed the mirrors with Bare Metal Chrome and mounted the mirrors on the car. Now, I just need to mount the wheels and tires. I need to cut the front wheel nut plug so they fit into the locating hole. There are no holes on the hubs unless you want to drill them. The front and rear wings need to be mounted. That should do it for this one. Hopefully I can finish up either tonight or tomorrow. Jim
