To those interested on the Indycar site in buying a 1/43 75 Eagle, Formula Models is working on theirs. It is somewhat overdue for release, but when it does get released a built one will be about half the cost of the IMRA listed on ebay. A kit should run for about a quarter of the cost.

I hope everyone realizes that I'm not the seller. I just found it this morning and thought I'd point it out. Sarcasm aside, I do realize this kit is probably super rare and highly collectible. You just won't find me shelling over my hard earned cash for it.

I guess the seller had second thoughts about his price. He's lowered the opening bid to $349. It'll be interesting to see if it sells.

$350-400 is not an unreasonable price for this kit. I purchased mine about 15 years ago for $300. It has been refered to as the 'Holy Grail' of 1/43 Indy cars. It is highly detailed and rivals any current 1/43 Indy car on market currently. If you look at a Feeling 43 kit or Superior it is of similar quality. Even current 1/43 Formula kits are selling for $110. I'm not the seller either but if you are collector/builder of 1/43 Indy cars your collection is not complete unless you have IMRA Eagle.

I have a lot of casting from these kits. My dad manufactured them back in the day. I have a few kits also. Victor
