Otaki 1/20 STP Turbine Does anybody know anything about this kit? Is it a reissue of the MPC kit or an original tooling? It seems to be ultra-rare. Attachments:

It is at best called a very bad clone of the MPC kit, The complete chassis is missing!!, and the rest is crap too. And I still think it is a real pity that AMT /MPC has not rereleased the 1967 STP Paxton Turbine!! I had the kit in 1967, when I was 20, gave it away, ever regretted that, have another here, but it is incomplete, some parts including the wind screen and roll bar are missing, and the upper body half is damaged. Now it's all up to Round 2 to rereleased this gem!! Paul Hooft, Netherlands

Thanks for the info Paul. I've wondered about this kit ever since I saw it on eBay a while back. I'm glad I spent my money on a complete example of the MPC kit instead.

Wow... that's one I've enver seen. I wonder if it would be worthwhile if you just need the external workings?
