Having never seen these cars in person, or in some cases only in black and white photos it's so cool to see these being built. It's like going back in time. This one is really beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Bernard - Thanks for posting the color photo. I only had one b/w photo of the car and it didn't show the right side of the hood so I didn't use the Hopkins Special decal because I was unsure but now I will go back and put it on. Also I suspected the 54 car had orange wheels but I went ahead and painted them gold as in 1955, looking at you photo it appears they were orange, now I may have to go back and somehow repaint them orange. Thanks again, this really helps.
