for the time, these were pretty cool kits. but for some reason I was thinking they were an odd scale, like 1/28th or something. is that correct? if so, how far off scale would that make them from the 'normal' 1/25th scale?
I came close to buying an Aurora 1920 Monroe but the bidding got rediculous. I think the winner paid $120.00 for it! I was willing to go $50 but that was it!
like I said, these kits were great......hope to find them some day.

Cheers, Danny I found this one on ebay for only $12.99!! then I read 'box only'. bummer, as this is the one I REALLY want. my Dad's cousin was Louis Schneider. Danny, thanks for the offer. I check ebay at least once or twice a week, but I have so many projects lined up right now that if I DID find one, I wouldn't get around to building it until I retire...which is about 10 years away!!! lol

Interesting find here. Perhaps someone can shed a little light on this issue. Has anyone ever seen these kits packaged this way? Were there any other combinations? I don't know if Best released any of the other kits that eventually ended up with Aurora. Any ideas on who supplied the paint? Thanks in advance for any info

WOW. Now that's something. Gotta be worth a pretty penny too. I'll ask a friend of mine who's really knowledgable about vintage kits if he's ever seen this.

Like everyone else, I've never seen this set. This has to be a late 1950's model. Incredible find...Wow!! Tom T.
