I always enjoy seeing everyone else's work here and so I am posting a couple of photos of my latest Indy model. It is Sam Hanks' 1957 winner built from a Vintage Indy Resin kit. The resin body was very finely cast, requiring minimal filling and clean up. The kit went together easily and the only problem I had was fitting the vacuform windshield, but I eventually trimmed it enough for a good fit. I pained the car with Testors' lacuqer 28102 Phoenician Yellow. The decals are Indycals for both the car and the tires. Thank you for looking.

Nice build
How did you get the grill to fit?

First rate job. It's really neat to see the finished product from the end user. And thanks for the kind critique.

Very nice job!!! May I ask what paint you used on the mags? It looks like just the right color to me.

Regarding the grill, I added a small piece of of Evergreen strip plastic on either side of the radiator opening and sanded it to shape and the grill then fit pretty well. As to the wheel color I used Model Master Metaliizer Jet Exhaust and added a little Metalizer Aluminum until it looked right to my eye.
I believe one these kits is currently available on Ebay if anyone is interested.

As I see a very great models, and a very nice job!...I've ordered it to Rick, and await it with many impatience... But just a question to anyone, apart the two versions from Indycals, who has made any decals from this model.I've found more twelve different versions from this 1957/58 Offy Epperly? But fcin 100,a very great job...
