I spent a little time reading and researching the 1969 Thermo King Wedge car, first "Ya Gotta Love the Look!!" next as I read I realized it wouldnt be too bad of a build. I will warn you, I intend on building a Phantom Chrvy powered car, I will keep it to the real car except the engine. Gerhardt based this car on one of his well known Lotus 56 B Clones as he did several other cars, I didnt know he had built so many of these chassis for 69 and a few years beyond many teams used them in many configurations.. So once I saw Lance's pic and saw the clone being used I knew this would be a great WIP. I am gathering parts and started the upper body work using a glue bomb I got a few years back, and will start with many pics in a few days..... Chris

I did a little more ,the nose is shaped, I shortened the side and I am rethinking the angle of the Wedge, my measurements show it to be close but to the eye it looks extreme. I think I will wait until I add the cockpit surround. bit by bit its forming up.. Chris

Chris,
Looking good! What chassis are you using as a buck under the paper templates?
Thanks Jimmy "RASS"

Since the car was originally built on a Lotus 56b (turbine) replica chassis thats what I am using.. I am stalled on this right now but more will come.. hopefully soon Chris
