Orange or papaya? I'm getting hungry for a fruit salad! Great pics! Thanks Lance!

Thnaks for these great photos!! Any details on the solid Orange M23 with the high airbox (late 73 style)?? I'm assuming it's a restored car, but would love details on it either way. I have a big jar of McLaren Orange/Papaya and a 1/12 Tamiya that would make this a great project!! JH

Thanks hasmod16 - this helped me find some great photos. But, no engine detail. I'll have to keep searching...

This is McLaren Chevrolet M25 (1974) 5 litre Chevrolet V8 engine
I think it, Should be 1/20 Scale, McLaren M23D fitted MPC Chevrolet V8 engine from McLaren M8D's
If You find this Tamiya, 1/12 Scale, Lola Chevrolet T70 for engine
If You will search for Google search or Yahoo search
If You will suggested it
I have n't able find McLaren M25 without engine detail because It was closed with airbox covered on Silverstone Classic 2005
Problem, This is Tamiya 1/12 Scale, both McLaren M23s has long nose cowling problem, This is Tamiya, 1/20n Scale McLaren M23D has double intake air box
What is You will decided it
Good Luck, JH3

The M25 was raced one (Shellsport 1976) or two races with a different air box and nose... The pix you are looking at are of the restored car. There was a M23 that ran F5000 in Australia with a Holden engine if I remember correctly... in two liveries... The car has since returned to F1 specs. Oh, here's a photo of the restored car's engine... I used an AMT M16 to bash it into a look similar M25. It was made about 15 years ago using the only two pictures I found... Glad to see interest in rare and unusual cars. Patrick
