I will try to scratch build the 1964 Studebaker Novi from Clidinst drawings. Here are The drawings: I start with the wheels. Rings and tires from AMT Lotus 29. Sizes match perfectly. Raised lettering are sanded and 1 mm evergreen plate is added to oversize half tire. Another 1 mm evergreen washer is added to ring Single one-side moulds for resin copies of half tires and ring Pouring and unmoulding Drilling holes at ring and mounting with two half tires. Thanks for comment. Regards,

Just an update the photo you posted was taken in 1965 of the updated 1964 car, A new Ferguson 4WD car was built for 1965 but was wrecked in practice so they used the updated 1964 car for the race. The frame on both cars was built with SQUARE tubing not round. Garage 97 did a model of this car years ago. I got one when they were still selling kits.

I remember the Garage 97 kits. One of the principals in that deal was a mechanical engineer for the Thomas L. Green Company, which was owned by Richard Lugar's brother, Tom.
I was running a lathe and mill, and doing some wire feed welding when needed.
There is an excellent book on this subject by George Peters and Henri Grubber (spelling is no doubt messed up) George is from across the pond, I think where they have a bunch of Windmills. George used to hang out at Mari Halls shop. I think George died. I have not seen him in quite sometime.

Update on the Novi Books George Peters Is still alive and just turned 84 In Dec. and still lives in the St. Louis area. He has some trouble getting around so It's been hard for him to get to the races lately. Henri Greuter is the one that lives in The Netherlands, He was here for a visit this past fall and we had George over for a Bar-B Q and had a great time. George's 2 daughters are going to see if they can get George to the speedway this May , so he can visit with a lot of his racing friends. Vol.#2 of the Novi books is still available, I have access to this book at $20 plus shipping, some of these are autograph by both authors. same price.

Wheels with decals and painted. Next, I've started with the body. With CAD assist, I draw representative cross sections and cut them over 1 mm evergreen sheet. Then, I cut many strips evergreen 1 mm, and glue over the drawing, first floor body, next upper body and finally sides. Once I confirmed the general body volume, is only going to settle all sticking strips. Now, It's time for sanding, plastering, sanding, plastering, sanding, ... Regards,
