A few updates... Ride height and tires/wheels shown...do these look correct? I used Etzel's rears all round...the front should be a tad thinner and a tad smaller, but I think this is the best I can find... Made new air cleaners (Bill is correct, the midget's are too small)...strips of photo-etch for the grill....various suspension members... I'm doing drum brakes; I ended up using washers... I'll show them next time...Suggestions & comments welcome... Tim

Side "bubble" in place... Keep having to cut down the front suspension... Sorry for the fuzzy picture, but it does show larger air cleaners If you look closely, the brake drums are visible... Back drums in place... Rick: THANKS for the IMS HOF pictures...I couldn't do the front or rear suspension without them... Onward, through the fog! Tim

This car was a light yellow, Chrome yellow is to dark you might want to look at Testors Automotive lacquer paint they have a light yellow, but I can't remember the name of the color, When I go to the hobby shop I'll see what the name of the color.

thanks Bill for putting up for sale BUT I think it got to be a bit out of my league. the bidding is up to $46 and who knows how high someone has their auto-bid set at. oh well.....guess I'll just sit and wait patiently for Lance's Mickey Thompson OR I guess I could go work on my Novi........so many projects, so little time AND MONEY! LOL

A lot going on, but I've found time to work on this one... Still trying to get the grill just right... The wheels will be straight when the drag links are added... Michael's panel lines were a BIG help... Thanks for looking! Tim

Johnnie Parsons sits in the middle of the second row; before the day is out, he will have the fastest car and an Indy 500 win... No cracked block, just a little moisture on the head... As Rick and others have pointed out, this car will be: 1949---Second 1950---First 1951---Second 1952---Tenth A VERY unusual susprnsion for sure... I'll have to take a better picture of the front suspension; I gotta' show off all that work! This became an obession, but it came out OK...Thanks for looking! Tim
