Plugging along slowly. I have run into some engineering difficulty in trying to figure out how the mold will be made as there is such 'incut' in th educt area. I'm tinkering with the idea of cutting out the bottom of the side pods which would allow the car to be released form the mold. The side pod bottoms would them be a seperate piece. I'm also working on the front suspension...i think I have figured out a slick way to do it. Will post some pics this weekend.

Thanks for the update. Sometimes my excitement prevents me from acknowledging the obvious challenges these projects present. I admire and appreciate all the hard work you and others do on these endeavors.

Here is some incentive for you Cal! I wanted to add some color to your post! Many great paint schemes if someone wants to do the decals. These are my pictures from Pocono in 1977 and 1978. From 1977 Rutherford's car, Sneva's car, even though it's listed as a Penske PC-5, it's still and M24. I think it's all in the wheels! Andretti's Car from 1977, Penske PC-5 From 1978 Rutherford's car Wally Dallenbach's Car with the smaller nose What I feel is the prettiest of them all Larry Dickson's PC-5. Salt Walther also had an M24 for the 78 Indy, but ran an M16 at Pocono. Hopefully your car will be a master for many more. Jim .....and in the background is the same Olds 98. guess he liked that parking spot and used it every year. LOL also I was always partial to the Sugaripe Prune cars. this one of Dallenbachs is REALLY nice!

Yes Cal! You've had enough time to play around with this! We're getting impatient! LOL!..................
All good things take time. Would love to see this come to fruition too, hope you're still workin' on it!

I pulled it out again and I'm working on the front and rear suspension. The track on the AMT PC9 rear seams to be too wide so I am fashioning new pieces out of brass. I was hoping it would be a plug and play but it's just not looking right.
