Jaunjo: Seriously impressive! Very well done! A question: I'm wondering about the front wheel spinners? Your picture shows it doesn't have them on the front...I wonder why?...seems it would be a problem on a pit stop...any ideas anybody? Tim

Tim
In 1964 Most all of the cars ran the race on ONE SET of tires, If you look at the photos of the actual car you well see it just a Jaunjo made the model. The plus side of this was you didn't have all the marbles do deal with if you went to the high side to make a pass. Was the racing any Better because of this That up to everybody different opinion.

Hi Juanjo Another fantastic build. I do have one question , is the base kit you used still available or is it out of production. Thanks for another great WIP. Ralph

How did I miss this great build! I wish you didn't use the kit tires...wrong width. Consider changing them out to Indycal's tires. Michael hadn't made his available yet. So, I used some Mk38 tires (still not correct!). His are more correct. Your decals are far better than my effort. I like the treatment you did on the rod ends. I didn't notice the starter frame work for my build, nice. The rear wheel is a Halibrand and the front wheels are Brabham. Please accept my constructive comments. Also notice the one mirror. Cheers, Patrick

Juanjo, what is the wheelbase for your BT12. I know the BT12 is longer than the BT24. Thanks Steve Austin Steve, wheel base for my BT 12 is 104 mm. That represents 102" at 1/1 scale, maybe longer than real, but needet to fit the Offy engine in my model.
