My latest Indy Car is the 1963 Konstant Hot roadster driven by Roger McCluskey. I built it using an AMT Watson kit and a Lance Sellers 1964 Foyt upgrade kit. I found the fit of the AMT to be a bit of a challenge but the Sellers upgrade kit is excellent. Modifications include filling the nose intake and adding a pair of scoops on the hood. The decals are Indycals and went on without any issues. The wheels are painted Testors metalizer Jet Exhaust. Hope you like it.

Always loved the car (black and gold with the sunburst--what could be better)and your build does it justice. Super job.
cheers, kip

Good job! I specially like wheels. Before Testors metalizers, black primer must be applied, as Alclad metalizers?

No, I didn't use any primer. I stripped the chrome off the wheels with bleach and then just shot two coats of metalizer over the bare plastic.
